anonymous “Friendly and Professional” Aug 21, 2009 My childhood dentist had recently retired and I was looking for a new dentist that I would be able to stay with for many years. I found Dr. Khani's office while grabbing dinner with friends on Santana Row a few weeks ago. Her office staff was extremely helpful and made checking on my benefits and making an appointment very easy. Dr. Khani was really professional and skilled but sweet and friendly at the same time. I've referred my mother, sister and boyfriend to her aswell and they all had great experiences too. My 5 year old nephew saw her for a cleaning and x-rays and a small filling and was actually excited after his visit. I'm glad I found a new dentist and office I can be happy about continuing to come to. 	I visited Tranquility Dental office for just a cleaning and got quite impressed with the Dr. Ravon's magical hands. After cleaning, not only she talked about my teeth conditions, she also described in details a few important points about how I damaged my teeth by the way I brush them. I was amazed that she could tell by just looking at my teeth like she is in the mirror at my home! She showed me the damaged area on the computer screen and for the first time I saw clearly what she was looking at. I had her repair two teeth and I actually fell asleep during the procedure. For those of you who have a fear of going to the dentist office, I highly recommend Dr. Ravon. Just step into her office and you can really feel the serenity of the office environment, which is only possible by her knowledge of dentistry and transpiring that to an atmosphere of absolute Tranquility. 	I absolutely LOVE this dental spa! I have recommended Dr. Khani to all my friends and family. Each time I walk into the office I am greeted by name and immediately put into the massage chair and given a glass of juice or water. I've had cleanings, fillings filled and envisalign adjustments, and have always been treated like a valued client. Lisa, the office dental assistant, always puts me at ease prior to each visit by detailing every procedure of an upcoming visit. If you live in the SF peninsula or silicon valley, you're crazy not to have Dr. Khani take care of your dental needs. 	Both my 14 year old son and I went in for a visit and were immediately greeted by her assistant Lisa. Shortly after Dr. Hamid-Khani came out to introduce herself to both of us. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the doctor had us both feeling very comfortable. Her assistant talked us through everything that was going on and took care of all the insurance for me. 	I rate Tranquility Dental much like I rate my experience visiting The Four Seasons. From the moment I enter the doors the receptionist welcomed me by name. Dr. Hamidkhan came out and greeted me and I was offered something to drink and a trip to the massage chair. Her assistant took me back and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Hamidkhan explained everything that was going on the entire time with her soothing voice. When it was done I had lip balm applied to my dry lips and mouth wash with a warm towel to wipe my face. First class all the way. She even called me before leaving the office to see how I was doing. The next morning when I experienced some discomfort, I called again to here her pleasant receptionist who immediately got Dr. Hamidkhan on the phone to give me advice on how to make me more comfortable. I love this place. I mean as much as you can love going to the dentist. From beginning to end they provide personalized, quality 5 star service. 	My crown from a few years ago fell out and I had to call Dr. Ravon on the emergency line to figure out what to do. When she called back she apologized for taking so long because she had been in a meeting and had to have her phone off (understandable) She told me to call in the next day where they would work around my schedule. They did just that. Again I was greeted like a family member and treated as such. Everyone was friendly and everything was explained in detail from the procedure to the insurance aspect. During the procedure she constantly made sure I was comfortable. It took about an hour to get my temporary crown and I was on my way. Again, they are so friendly and make the experience so stress free. I really hate going to the dentist but here I never really feel I am at the dentist. Thanks Dr. Ravon and your entire team. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave your family. :) But we really have to stop meeting like this..lol..
